Novelis Corporation seeks a Value in Use Cost Engineer in Novi, MI. Estimate Total Cost of Ownership for OEMs to produce BIW/door/battery structural parts and assemblies Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or related field or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience in a Cost Estimating Engineer role or related occupation. Experience must include working in a business analysis or product engineering environment; Creating and utilizing Cost Estimating Analysis (bottom up & top-down approaches), Cost Gap Analysis, Cost Estimating Computerized Tools, use of CAD Models visualizing software, ), automotive benchmark analysis, product Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) advanced use of Microsoft Excel project and familiarity with internal and external production processes. 25% domestic and international travel visiting Novelis locations during project implementations.
