Job Details:

Neyer, Tiseo & Hindo, Ltd. (dba NTH Consultants, Ltd.) seeks an Assistant Project Engineer in Northville, MI to help lead geotechnical field observations and  studies, including on-site direction of geotechnical drilling activities, and required permit(s) coordination. Remote work permitted 20% of the time. Domestic travel to various unanticipated U.S. project sites required up to 30% of the time.

Qualified candidate must have either: a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field, plus one (1)  year of experience as a civil engineer; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience as a civil engineer. The required experience must include all of the following: developing preliminary budgets, project scope, andschedules; conducting site visits, performing surveys and inspections, and assisting with data collection; delivering daily field reports and presentations of  work progress to clients; utilizing geotechnical investigation methods including drilling, instrumentation, and infiltration testing; and using AutoCAD, L-Pile,  GIS. Qualified candidate must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license or be able to obtain licensure within one (1) year of hire.
