Sales Rep to Close Leads! This is not a hunter position but a closer position! Some notes from my discussions with the client: o Construction background; roofing and/or gutters ideal o Gutters are not just gutters - 7-8 different types of gutter...copper, aluminum, case style, commercial gutters, box gutters, + more...all the guards are different too o High closing rate/shark/top sales person...close at least 50% of all leads o Years: 3-5 years of exp. plus track record ... presently doing strong o A lot of leads! Will have lists to call on o Closing rate 50%-55% range...very hot project o NOT an estimator... o Need a BNI guy, join the networking groups get their name passed around o "Coffee is for closers" o They also do side services that complement the gutter business = cleaning services...they do it to upsell strategically o $1000/deal ... some are bigger deals, and of course some are smaller o 25 - 30 visits a week to hit goals (all visits are secured by marketing team) o $60-80k seems like all in comp. for first year, uncapped potential to $100k plus - About 50/50 base to commish - Flexibility to do less base more commissions as time goes on and the accounts grow o Training: "Sales cookbook" on how to hit the numbers, step by step to hit the quotas o Very receptive and inclusive management team o Schedules are set a week in advance o Ipad for planning, pitching, info...great tool - Set up nicely o The days are planned well o The tools/CRM/days are very planned, very clear o Appointments are scheduled for the Sales Rep :-) - The Sales Rep just needs to close the deals! o Every week there`s a Friday meeting - Rapport and culture building to drive collaboration to sell more o Does not have to be in the physical office! o Sales Rep figures out price, does diagrams, all on site - Identify pain points - Do walk arounds - Build customer rapport - Handle the objections - Get a next step right then and there! Assumptively close o Architectural design needs not very technical - If there needs to be an architect involved, the team circles around the Sales Rep to help o Rotating schedules for Sat. appointments, 1-2 weekends/month o Mornings usually take up with site meetings, afternoons to plan/develop new business o There are a lot of referrals from partnerships, but this person is expected to hunt/bring in new business (go get em mentality) o 90% residential, 10% commercial ... they do not do work for development builders, will work with custom builders o Sales Reps gets the vehicles - 2019 car :-) o San Antonio Territory - Try to be considerate and efficient o Work shirt with a professional look o About 30min meetings with prospects o 1-2 week training then Sales Rep are out in the field fully o Phone interview first, then face to face interview (maybe a zoom if difficult) o Need folks that are looking for the $65k to 85k first year Perks/benefits: $50/month cell phone allowance & Company iPad 6 Holidays. 1 week of sick & 1 week Vacation after 1 year.
