JOB DESCRIPTION

The position will include a number of key responsibilities across three primary functions: project management; architectural design; and collaboration with clients, engineers, team subcontractors, specialty contractors, and equipment vendors. This position will manage new construction and renovation projects from schematic design, design development, construction documents, though bidding and construction contract administration.

The Project Architect will collaborate with a team of engineers and contractors while meeting directly with clients to develop and execute design projects according to schedule and budgets. This position balances active architectural design duties while overseeing construction during the project lifecycle.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead architectural design and project management for renovation and new construction projects, including functional programming, creation of schematic designs, technical design development, preparation of construction and bidding documents and construction contract administration.
  • Develop architectural designs in AutoCAD.
  • Conceptualize and finalize project budgets, schedules, and performance objectives with the project team and senior firm staff.
  • Collaborate with management and help to develop new business with new and existing clients.
QUALIFICATIONS

Strong northern A&E firm with multiple offices for the company. Involved in indusrial, commercial and military projects with an active and acclerating project basis.

Education:
University - Master`s Degree
