Top Tier RIA seeks an Operations Analyst to join our Operations team. The qualified candidate will work with the Operations team and will support the activities of our domestic traders, portfolio managers and client service administrators. This position reports to the Director of Operations and has no direct reports.

General Responsibilities

• Open accounts/wiring $

• Backup and assist in trade settlement operations

• Maintain proxy voting database with vendor

• Assist with maintaining and calculating firm management fees as well as the generation of billing

  reports

• Monitor and process daily requests received from the front office

• Assist with the processing of voluntary corporate actions

• Maintain proxy voting database with vendor

• Maintain system financial data, including new security set up, pricing, etc.

• Resolve cash and position reconciling items on a timely basis

• Perform some daily account reconciliation activities as needed

• Create and update procedures for daily responsibilities

• MUST KNOW SCHWAB PLATFORM,

• Bachelors degree, preferably Accounting or Finance

• 1-2 years of back-office operations experience or equivalent

• Ability to communicate clearly, both written &orally

• Ability to gather and report on various information and data

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to operate independently and under pressure

• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks

• Strong aptitude for numbers and problem-solving skills

• Ability to deal discreetly with confidential information

• Team player

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Advent Portfolio Management software (AXYS/APX, MOXY, Revenue Center)

• Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or FactSet a plus

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
