Wealth Advisor & Trust Officer



Key Objectives:
A vital role in implementing and delivering a full range of services to a select clientele, including complex trust and estate matters, investment management and financial planning.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities of the Wealth Advisor & Trust Officer:

  • Deliver integrated wealth management services to clients; liaise with Portfolio Managers and deliver consultation to clients in an advisory role, developing estate, tax, financial planning, and philanthropic programs to augment the overall client experience
  • Meets consistently with clients to assess trust documents, assists in estate tax return preparation, and assessed, and delivers input on their long-term financial plan, investment strategy and asset allocation.
  • Consistently assists in identifying, developing, and responding to new business opportunities. Will be required to contribute to new business goals by developing new sales opportunities through a variety of different channels both internally and externally. Works in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm to attain a high level of broad client service.
  • Safeguards compliance with all firming laws, rules, regulations, and specified policies and /procedures required to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards associated to and required by the professionals duties.
  • Engage in public presentations in an educational capacity through in person and virtual channels.
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Education:

  • 10 or more years Trust experience supervising high net worth client relationships; experience supervising institutional accounts, including non-profits, foundations, and endowments, a plus.
  • Robust fiduciary background with an emphasis on trust administration, estate planning, probate accounting and estate settlement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, present and implement financial plans with firm clientele and prospects, often in conjunction with a designated financial planner in the Wealth Management department.
  • Well versed in current estate tax law and critical tax code changes.
  • Robust relationships with external partners including estate planning attorneys and accountants.
  • Demonstrated record of meeting assigned new business goals.
  • BA or equivalent degree
  • Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or JD Preferred

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
