We are looking for one or more non-invasive cardiologists to help with our growth. We have a fairly normal distribution of age range of our cardiologists, so we can expect 2-3 cardiologists slowing down and retiring over the next 3-5 years. In addition, as above, we are moving into new locations which require specialty care. Our physicians work 4 and 1/2 days per week; there is one afternoon off per week. Any new associate gets 6 weeks of vacation (includes CME time). All new associates get their own, new, MacBook Air so they can have the ability to read diagnostic studies and have computer access in the patient rooms. In general, a new associate will spend majority of the time in the hospital and minority of time in the office; this changes over time as the physician`s office practice grows. Call is 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks and 3 weeknights per month; the physician on call only covers 1 of the 3 hospitals. The call is taken at home (not in the hospital). We are looking for cardiologists who enjoy seeing patients with a vast array of cardiovascular disease both in the hospital and in the office.
