Summary of Responsibilities Overall management of all production processes to include injection molding, lamination, assembly, maintenance, logistics, engineering to ensure customer schedules and quality specifications are met. Support all departments in productivity attainment, quality standards, and conformance to policies and procedures. This position requires a positive, can-do attitude, excellent human management interpersonal skills, decisiveness, and demonstrated commitment to continual continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Provide reports and information to General Manager as required or needed necessary
- Manage all facility activities and personnel reporting to this position
- Maintain effective communication and coordination Effectively communicates with all internal customers, plant management and team members; maintain positive employee relations; listen to issues and concerns and respond within 48 hoursdisplays leadership in driving accountability and responsiveness.
- Maintain open, honest relationship with fellow team members; treat all team members with dignity and respect without favoritism
- Follow the principles of the clientsEmployee Relations Guidelines Code of Conduct with regard to people and practices.
- Provide full support to Employee Opinion Survey Action Plan
- Promote and practice safety first by immediately addressing any hazards, defective equipment or unsafe conditions within the department
- Oversee and direct Production Team Members on all shifts in safe, quality-minded and productive manner with a sense of urgency to attain production priorities as scheduled
- Support new program launches
- Maintain and continually facilitate organization and housekeeping standards
- Utilize lessons-learned philosophy in continual improvement activities Displays complete ownership of the Operational aspects of the plant including being a visible leader and setting priorities and objectives for safety, quality, launch activities, housekeeping, 5S, and continuous improvement.
- Report on status of projects as required
- Provide motivation and results-oriented environment
- Conduct performance evaluations of reporting personnel as specified by company goals
- Ensure all Team Member documentation is maintained
- Lead Production Manager, Assembly Manager, Maintenance Manager, Business Manager, IT/Logistics Manager and Engineering Manager, to include training and development, communication and enforcement of company policies and procedures, performance coaching and evaluation, and written documentation of Team Member performance issues
- Recommend measures for continual improvement of quality methods, equipment performance and product quality
- Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist Team Members in solving work problems, including personnel and process issues
- Attend and participate in required meetings
- Knowledgeable in ERP Systems
- Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example; wear PPE at all times
- Promote and facilitate Open Door Process without reprisal, effective communication and Fair Treatment
- Participate in Continual Improvement activities
- Oversee (3) shifts of manufacturing activities through reporting staff: molding, laminating, assembly, maintenance, IT, logistics and engineering
- Complete correspondence, forms and reports in Microsoft Office and other programs
- Handle confidential information on a regular basis; uphold confidentiality and build trust in Management
- Determine, achieve and improve productivity, quality, environmental, health and safety goals
- Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS Education, Skills and Experience - Minimum of 10+ years of progressively more responsible supervisory / managerial and leadership experience in high volume manufacturing operation
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience Bachelors in Engineering or Business Related Field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Some college level courses preferred
- Trained manufacturing professional
- Honest with high integrity
- Excellent human management skills
- Good technical skills
