Positions are 100% onsite. College degree absolutely required, Epic certifications HIGHLY preferred.
Responsible for designing and developing reporting solutions in accordance to enterprise standards and end-user requirements. Responsibilities include report development, data model interpretation, and metadata management. Provides analytical assistance to end users and project team members. Assists in benchmark reporting and data extractions using standard industry definitions and tools. Knowledgeable of current Joint Commission guidelines for managing patient health information and knowledgeable of HIPAA requirements. Successful performance of this role is demonstrated by the timely completion of all assigned reports, which contributes to the overall provision of quality, effective, and efficient solutions to support the data-driven, analytics strategy and decision making required in delivering patient care across the continuum. In addition, this position promotes high standards in regards to effective departmental and customer service. QUALIFICATIONS
-5+ years experience in Epic Clarity, reporting workbench, Crystal Reports, and/or enterprise reporting tools.
-Certification in Epic data model(s) and module(s) is preferred.
-Epic certifications desirable: Clarity Data Model, Reporting Workbench Report , Writing and Administration, Willow, Beacon and Ambulatory
-Strong data management and computer skills including reporting and database terminology, development of spreadsheets, analysis and manipulation of complex data from multiple data sources
-Proficient with MS SQL, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access, SAP, and SSIS data packages
-Leadership and team building skills including the interpersonal skills necessary to interact and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and organizational leaders
-Able to handle multiple tasks, problem solving and troubleshooting
-Strong Prioritization and Communication
-Willingness to address issues and take ownership, knowing when and how to escalate issues
-Analytical skills necessary to review and identify reporting/data errors and develop corrective action plans
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to synthesize and interpret information
-Knowledge of regulatory requirements on information privacy
-Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and data
-2+ years of healthcare information systems experience
-2+ years of experience working with data warehouses, data marts and business intelligence applications and/or enterprise reporting tools
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
