Sales and Implementation Enginner with strong technical knowledge including: data and data transfer, API, Web Services, JSON, XML, and experience in Saas environment. Knowledge of network security, streaming video technology, and IoT technology a plus. Previous client experience with state/city/county/municipal clients.
This position is a critical bridge between company and their clients following the sale. In a 4-step process, this position is #2.
#1 Sales; #2 SW implementation; #3 Execution; #4 Tech Support. Requires maturity, software knowledge, diplomacy, understanding of municipalities and government officials, and sensitivity to know when to go back to in-house SW developers. This is NOT a programmer position; it is implementation.
BS/BA (preferred) in Computer Science or software-related discipline.
Will not be responsible for sale. However, must feel technically comfortable working with/for customers. Therefore, previous post-sale experience required in order to drive technical solutions to solve customer problems. Additional company team members will follow to provide solution execution.
Candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of technical client implementation efforts. Must have a passion for solution development and previous experience working with customers on-site. Strong technical and communication skills needed in order to deliver complex technical solutions that meet business and/or government/municipal needs.
After a contract/agreement is in place, this candidate will consult with customers and other team members, to create and implement the technical product solution. Will serve as subject matter expert for product configuration.
Will prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers and how to seamlessly and securely integrate client needs into company platform. Comfortable giving both in-person and remote presentations, hold Q&A sessions, run product demos.
Provide technical guidance to ensure the solution architecture is aligned with business objectives.
Schedule and lead quarterly followup meetings with key customers.
Troubleshoot, configure and provide additional solutions when necessary.
Create and maintain documentation of project work, client interactions.
Provide timely status updates to management and customers.
Communicate technical ideas and feedback to the project teams, business stakeholders and non-technical users
