We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer, Security (QA) to be part of a global software company who are a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications. They offer purpose-built solutions that allow those closest to the business to plan.

Key Criteria:

  • 8+ years of experience working with development and QA as SDET or automation engineer
  • Minimum 3 years of security experience, with a focus on infrastructure and application level penetration testing
  • Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Selenium is required
  • Knowledge of security operations - OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and corresponding best practices for mitigation
JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Staff QA Engineer your focus will be to ensure the security and availability of the company`s growing CPM footprint. You will be a critical member of the Security Engineering team directly contributing to projects spanning multiple technical areas, including: cutting edge information security technologies, enterprise level architecture and security frameworks. You will be involved early-on in the information technology design process.

Duties:

  • Drive and build our penetration testing program and toolkit.
  • Research new threats, attack vendors and risks independently and in coordination with our dev and Ops teams (os, network & devops), and plan inclusion of those into our tooling and development strategy.
  • Collaborate with Developers, DevOps and other QA engineers on secure coding practices through all steps of the SDLC to prevent application and configuration related vulnerabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as this job involves interacting with multiple teams.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience working with development and QA as SDET or automation engineer
  • Minimum 3 years of security experience, with a focus on infrastructure and application level penetration testing
  • Knowledge of security operations - OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and corresponding best practices for mitigation:
    • Cross-site scripting, cross site request forgery, SQL injection, DoS attacks, XML/SOAP, API attacks etc.
    • Secure configuration for network and OS infrastructure
    • Performing Security Design/Code Reviews
    • White box & black box penetration testing
    • Building security tool chains that integrate with our deployment tools
  • Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Selenium is required
  • Proven experience in programmatically testing software products and automating those tests
  • Skilled in building robust, scale-able, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Ability to meet high quality coding practices and standards
  • Experience working in Agile software development life cycles
  • Ability to build test strategy and work independently on complex projects
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent work or educational experience required

Desired:

  • Experience with AWS cloud security
  • Security certifications: GPEN, OSCP. OSCPE, OSWE, GWAPT. GXPN
  • Experience in working with SIEM integration
  • Experience building automation test framework
  • Experience writing automated tests in a Continuous Integration (CI) systems
  • Understanding of data structure and ability to construct SQL statements

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
