Senior Internal Auditor (Pipeline)

Description:
Responsible for the review and evaluation of all aspects of general internal controls for subjects defined by the Audit Plan.
Make recommendations to management to improve the internal controls of Michelin.
Examine records and conduct interviews to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
Analyze data for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of efforts, extravagance, fraud or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations and management policies or procedures.
Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for management according to the standards defined. Presentation of findings to management.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare audit plans, review and evaluate operations, and complete documents of work performed and present findings to management.
Perform follow-up of previous audits to make sure that action plans have been consistently implemented by the auditees.
Perform in-depth risk analyses on various departments and identify high-risk areas.
Understand and perform the financial testing as required by the internal control organizations of Michelin.
Keep abreast of policies and procedures, current developments in
Michelin and the auditing team. Develop an understanding of local, state and federal laws as applicable.
Qualifications:
Minimum four-year degree, MBA preferred.
Operational experience a plus.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of management.
Effective report writing and excellent communication skills are required.
Excellent computer skills to include proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Lotus Notes.
