Corporate Health Services Manager

Job Location: Greenville, SC

Shift: Full Time

STATEMENT OF FUNCTION:
Through professional expertise, the Corporate Health Services Manager will lead and enhance the occupational health services available to affected Michelin North America facilities and others (ancillary business units), on both a routine periodic and as requested basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serve as professional advisor and consultant at the zone level with the ability to analyze and improve Health Services Administration in the Michelin North America (MNA) facilities.
2. Provide strategic direction for authoring and revising clinical guidelines, analyzing and reporting on vendor and internal competence, and recommending opportunities for improvement in the Clinical Services.
3. Provide professional and technical expertise, leadership and advice to healthcare and EP professionals at each facility as well as partner with the management teams to enhance/protect the health of MNA employees.

FUNCTION
List of Principal Activities:
1. Provide strategic direction in the development and evaluation of programs and/or tools in the health services to improve the health and safety of the employee population.
2. Coordinate and interface with all EP components serving as a direct link to the facility nurses from the zone level. Responsible for communication of all Group, Zone, and governmental policies and changes that affect the facility health services.
3. Review, analyze and make recommendations to facility management teams concerning site occupational health services and the drug free workplace programs with the MNA Medical Board.
4. Provide Quality Assurance through audits, site visits, and self audit tool development for MNA Health Services.
5. Interface with outside organizations, business, and government agencies to maintain/develop program vision and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
6. Assure quality medical services by coordinating the evaluation of service providers and providing MNA EP contract specifications.
7. Develop and implement MNA Medical Vision, which is consistent with Groupe policy, through coordination of the MNA Medical Board.
8. Assure development and implementation of training and communication tools for facility Health Services staff.
9. Manage sustainability, provide expert user advice, and assure full implementation of the OHM system.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in a health or safety related field or business with health services management experience.

PROFESSIONAL PATH:
RN with a COHN certification or Country equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
5 years health services management experience with at least two in the industrial environment is required.
