Job Details:
-High school diploma or GED required.
-1 year of previous experience with insurance authorization processing required.
-2 years insurance experience and verification preferred.
-Familiarity with Access and Word preferred.
-Experience with Meditech preferred.
-Ability to work independently.
Job Duties:
Submitting authorizations, follow-up on authorizations, interviewing patient for financial responsibility, coordinate admissions between CPP programs. Knowledge and understanding of Meditech. Verify third party coverage. Records authorization in Access database, fax tax plans and other duties as assigned.
