Description
INVISTA's Performance Surfaces & Materials (PS&M) Business is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Global Brand Manager – Antron® Carpet Fiber. This position will be based in our Kennesaw, GA office.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of a global Antron® branding strategy, consulting with the regions and supporting consistent local implementation.
• Lead the implementation of the ANTRON® brand strategy in North America
• Lead market research efforts to evaluate and understand target audience (A&D, end user, dealer, mill rep) perception and attitude towards Antron® brand, competition, and identify unmet customer needs
• Develop and execute marketing communications planning across advertising, promotions and public relations platforms to increase share of the Antron® brand via increased brand preference and improved end-use demand pull through.
• Lead and develop the marketing communications capability
• Responsible for managing marketing communications activities with annual cost budget guidelines, identifying areas of cost reduction and opportunities to redirect spend for greater impact
Skills Required:
• Minimum 10-15 years work experience in brand management, marketing, advertising, or communications
• Experience in creating B2B brands, developing brand strategy, and the design and execution of regional marketing communications plans and approaches to support brand strategy
• Demonstrated commitment to compliance with all laws, regulations, and good business ethics.
• Able to think strategically and understand financial and business fundamentals, as well as possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• A self-starter who takes initiative to get business results.
• Results driven with the capability of seeing the whole picture and delivering independently in a partnering and collaborative style
• Excellent communication skills, combined with strong networking and influencing skills
• Knowledge of Business-to-Business creative marketing approaches, processes, and measures - preferred
• Knowledge of ingredient branding – preferred
• Knowledge of carpet fiber, carpet value chain – preferred
• Experience in defining global brand strategy – preferred
• Experience in working with decentralized international teams – preferred
• Ability to travel up to 50%
Education:
• 4 year college degree preferred.
Drug tests are required, unless prohibited by state law.
