Description
Our search is focused on a professional who can successfully work with several internal capabilities and business units to create the best data and reporting solutions that tie to financial results; drive action to eliminate waste.
The Sourcing Analyst will provide decision support to Central Sourcing, focusing on data systems for measures and reporting, by applying independent thinking, interacting with business units, and initiating solutions and “what if” scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Participate in gap analysis on INVISTA level data to provide to Business Units in order to drive efficiencies and eliminate waste;
- Working capital – primarily payables
- Sourcing function benchmarks vs. INVISTA actual – develop POV’s and gap analysis.
- Assist Business Units with analytics as needed and / or requested, to help identify opportunities and how to capture.
- Quarterly updates of Sourcing metrics versus business objectives identified in service contract(s).
Liaison to accounting for sourcing related issues that need efficient resolution.
- Assist in developing trading platform POV/DMF and systems to support trading strategies as needed.
Distribution database resource for sourcing and liaison with Business Unit and accounting for reconciliation issues.(secondary responsibility)
- Reconcile database to financial statements
- Create and modify monthly reporting for logistics
- Create ad hoc queries and reports
• Available for domestic and international travel as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics with 2+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Experience analyzing and modeling data.
• Experience applying problem solving skills and making recommendations.
• Experience communicating with business leadership at all levels.
• Experience handling several tasks/demands simultaneously
Preferences:
• System integration and/or database skills preferred
Drug tests are required, unless prohibited by state law.
