Project Excellence Manager
Job Location: Wilmington, Delaware

Description
This role will work in the Engineering group leading the Independent Project analysis, Inc. Industry Benchmarking (IPA) and large project work process (LPWP).
Responsibilities:
Facilitate improvement in project analysis, front end loading and resulting performance by setting up and implementing a process for project teams to effectively use the available tools including key learning's and best practices provided by IPA and industry benchmarking. Key measures will include improvement in performance reflected in the IPA analysis on specific projects.
This will include but not limited to:
- Assisting project teams in preparation for IPA reviews
- Interview Process
- Hands on participation
- Training
- Feedback into the large project work process
Other responsibilities include:
- Lead upgrades to the Invista LPWP resulting in a user friendly LPWP tool, and creation of a LPWP training module and program.
- Lead set-up and implementation of professional training for all constituents typically involved in project execution.
- Provide assurance and control function on application of benchmarked project execution excellence best practices.
Required Education:
- Bachelor Degree
Preferred Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years plus experience in project execution best practices analysis and training
- Experience working with project teams to integrate best practices during project planning before authorization of full funds
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with and in front of large and small groups
- Demonstrated ability to use presentation software and analysis techniques such as statistical models and empirical research
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience in industry benchmarking for project execution excellence
- Experience in developing and presenting workshops and training sessions
- Experience in facilitating application of project execution best practices
