Mechanical Operator CPS
Job Location: Spartanburg, SC
Shift:
Full Time
Job Responsibilities
*Complete Departmental records
*Zero Accidents and or Safety Violations
*Complete two Soar action plans per year and 2 observations per month
*Flawless execution of lock out tag out and Safe work permits, to include accurate lock out logs and procedures.
*Isolate equipment for maintenance
*Trouble shoot and repair equipment
*Report to Shift Supervisor
*Complete 2 fix it yourself tasks(M3) per month(minimum)
*Complete all required training including quarterly meetings and VTA
*Enter notifications for repairs discovered
*Perform all other jobs assigned by supervision that can be safely performed.
*Perform routine maintenance, housekeeping and service equipment in CPS area.
Experience & Skills Required
*Ability to work 12 hour shift in tobacco free atmosphere
*Ability to work with and take direction from all CPS Management
*Ability to work with all crews and crew members
*Work overtime as needed
*Work Rotating 12 hour shifts
*Must be able to meet all compliance and safety standards
*Strong mechanical ability Required
*Basic Computer skills including: Outlook, Word and Excel
*People Skills, must be able to organize, Lead and communicate with people well.
*Ability to read and understand instructions such as SOC's and schedules and follow verbal instructions
*Must be observant for Quality process and Quality Problems
*Must be able to troubleshoot Mechanical and Process and Quality Problems
*Must be able to communicate with internal and external work centers
*Must have good basic math skills
*Must be able to abide by and demonstrate our 10 Guiding Principles
*Must be able to produce product that meets or exceeds customers expectations
*Must be able to operate fork lift
