Tax Accounting Manager

Description:
To ensure our continued success, we must attract and retain exceptional talent in all areas and levels of our organization. We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Accounting Manager to join our Finance & Accounting team headquartered in Wichita, KS.
This position is housed in the company’s corporate tax structure and reports to the Director of Tax Compliance. One responsibility of the company’s corporate tax compliance team is consolidating, analyzing and reporting on the company’s FAS 109 position, of which transfer pricing is an integral part. The accounting manager will be a member of this team and through coordination with the regional tax and accounting teams will be responsible for both the regional tax provision and transfer pricing calculations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare/review monthly tax provision calculations for regional operations. This includes ensuring that there is proper documentation in the file to support all book and tax basis items.
• Calculation, documentation and understanding of required balances for all income tax accounts
• Prepare analysis of product pricing measures on a quarterly basis to be reviewed with Global Transfer Pricing Leader, Regional Tax Director, and Business Analysts.
• Calculate intercompany prices on a monthly basis on the transfer of products and services between related entities.
• Expand knowledge and understanding of the tax arena through working with and developing co-workers and participating in appropriate training opportunities as both a participant and a trainer.
• Serve as INVISTA’s Americas Region tax accounting resource for our site controllers located throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Required Experience:
• BS Accounting with four or more years experience in public accounting or in a large multinational business.
• Solid MS Office skills (including Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal skills
Preferred Experience:
• CPA
• FAS 109 exposure
