Description:
Individual will provide national environmental engineering expertise and leadership in water and wastewater fields. Expertise should encompass one or more of the following areas: water transmission, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, CSO, or wastewater treatment projects. Ideal individual should have experience in both water and wastewater systems. Must be familiar with current and proposed regulatory requirements in water and wastewater fields and with engineering alternatives currently available to meet these requirements. Regional/national recognition in environmental engineering field a plus.
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership of discipline in multiple offices, assistance with national strategic initiatives, assistance with identifying strategic staffing requirements, coordination of technical papers and assistance with new business development.
Individual would coordinate associate chiefs to provide technical assistance, quality control oversight, and maintenance of environmental engineering technical tools. Licensed Professional Engineer with significant environmental engineering experience in planning, design, and constructability of water and wastewater facilities. Travel approximately 30%. Assigned work location is flexible with preference for Phoenix, Arizona or Eastern Iowa.
MS or PhD Civil Environmental Engineering, PE and 15 years experience.
Salary Range $100K to $130K depending on Experience.
