Duties: 

Work with the business on the requirements and budget approval for digital and SAP projects enhancements (dx) and SAP implementation projects; manage dx/IT projects, including budget management,  communication, and project progress; understand business objectives from stakeholders and create dx project plans; monitor and report on progress of projects; manage three (3) employees, who are responsible for the execution of dx/IT projects; select and approve IT vendors, which assist in the day-to-day execution of dx/IT projects; work with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams on multi-country project planning and execution process projects, including Latin America and Europe; use Waterfall/Agile to manage and monitor projects; understand and anticipate the demands of each project and incorporate into project/consolidation list; serve as a resource for the business and answer questions on dx/IT processes; communicate project portfolio project’s impact to the business, including any expected outages and status of operational environment.

Requirements:               

Bachelor's degree in engineering or other STEM field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in IT/digital consulting or IT project management in different process areas for consumer packaged goods (CPG) or industrial companies in a global environment. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Working in multiple process areas, including finance, R&D, and/or supply chain; Multi-regional SAP implementation project(s); IT vendor negotiation and management; Project budget monitoring and management; Working with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams on multi-country process projects, including Latin America and Europe; IT project and program management using waterfall and agile; and Process consulting. Position requires approximately 20% domestic and international travel. Partial telecommute available, must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Stamford, CT.
