Position Description:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production & facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of Schultes' business goals and objectives.

Perform all necessary maintenance and repairs in a machine shop consisting of over 100 pieces of equipment.

Ability to plan, manage and lead simple to complex maintenance/facility projects.

Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs on all equipment in a machine shop consisting of CNC mills, CNC Lathes and other equipment.

Install machines and new equipment as well as overhaul and rebuild machines as needed

Establish and maintain a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for all equipment.

Assist facility maintenance team; i.e., heating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, building and grounds, vehicle repair, etc.

Observe all health and safety rules and procedures in the performance of tasks.

Perform other machine and facility maintenance duties as required.

To use the Schultes' Maintenance Portal for all maintenance related activities within the facility:

• Navigate and review all open maintenance tickets
• Document and systemically organize all assigned tasks for the day/week/month in order of priority.
• Complete all open maintenance open tickets.
• Document the completion of all maintenance tickets:

1. Nature of work performed
2. Cost associated with the repair
3. Purchase Order numbers for materials used/purchased
4. Record the machine downtime
5. Record the repair hours on each piece of equipment
6. Attach any supporting documentation that may be associated to the maintenance ticket.

• A degree or certificate in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is preferred but not required.
• CNC Machinery experience.
• Technical capability.
• Ethical conduct.
• Proficient communication, computer skills, navigation on the internet, mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of the maintenance team.
