Description: Position Overview Johnson is a leading global fitness company seeking a talented, passionate Recruiter to join our HR team in Cottage Grove, WI. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment for various departments and locations throughout the company. Duties include placing job postings, tracking applicants, sourcing, screening, conducting interviews, references and preparing employment offer packages in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position must possess considerable skill in recruiting and interviewing techniques, job placement marketing and federal/state laws regarding employment practices. This is a non-supervisory position.
Responsibilities Staffing: - Coordinate the recruitment process to include placing job postings, tracking applicants, sourcing, screening, conducting interviews, references, and preparing employment offer packages
- Coordinates with hiring managers to determine best recruiting process for positions
- Provides information on company facilities, benefits, and job opportunities to potential applicants
- Create and maintain job descriptions as needed
- Develops recruitment programs, budgets and collateral to attract applicants and fill openings
- Develop strong social media presence for recruiting positions nationwide
- Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Compiles recruitment analytics to ensure effectiveness of recruitment strategies and makes recommendations for improvement
- Manages the relationships and programs with recruitment vendors and applicant tracking database
- Makes recommendations for best use of recruitment spending for effective hiring
- Coordinates participation in, sets up display, and represent the company at career fairs
Other Job Functions: - Assists department members with a variety of project-related activities in all functional areas
- Maintains the confidentiality of all information
- May travel to career fairs and/or other work locations
- Other projects as required
.Requirements:Qualifications Education/Experience: - Requires Bachelor's degree with a preferred minimum of three years of full life-cycle recruiting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources
Other Requirements: - Proficient use of Microsoft Office products required
- Previous experience with recruitment software and HRIS systems is required. Previous experience using Paylocity is preferred.
- Requires a valid driver's license for travel
- Domestic travel will be required
Skills - Possesses a broad knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the field of human resources
- Will be required to obtain extensive understanding of Johnson personnel policies and procedures along with the understanding of the company's organizational structure.
- Broad knowledge of and background in employment laws and government compliance regulations
