PURPOSE OF POSITION: To process all incoming and outgoing general deliveries or shipments of parts and provide support loading and unloading equipment to meet customers' needs, increase Company efficiency and reduce shipping costs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Unload and receive all parts, equipment, and general delivery shipments. Inspect all incoming deliveries; note discrepancies, damage, and freight charges; process packing slips. Route parts, equipment and general deliveries per priority levels. Pull, package and ship outgoing parts, equipment and general deliveries per designated priorities and shipping cost expectations. Process shipping documentation.
JOB DUTIES: Maintain safety and organization of Shipping and Receiving mezzanine and packaging areas. Support the Warehouse and Yard Coordinator with loading and unloading new, used, rental equipment and attachments. Inspect incoming & outgoing parts, equipment, and attachments for damage. Document and improve all shipping and receiving procedures. .Requirements:EXPECTATIONS: Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. Knowledgeable of all products. Respectfully takes direction from Parts Manager. Works collaboratively with Yard Coordinator to provide back up support when needed. Works well alone and collaboratively in a team environment with a positive attitude Provide excellent customer service and maintaining existing relationships Ability to learn and comply with all Federal, State, and Norlift employment regulations or policies. Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspace and yard. Good work characteristics including self-motivation, positive interpersonal communications, team player, professional demeanor, reliable attendance. Must be able to pass pre-placement drug screen and physical.

Ability to maintain accuracy in the midst of shifting demands Basic math skills
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS Forklift Certification (certification can be obtained at Norlift after hire)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Additional knowledge and experience working with general delivery carriers preferred.
