Job Description: Compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and product for the purpose of maintaining accurate and appropriate inventory levels. Responsibility and Duties: Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Repairs reports such as inventory reports, usage repots, item activity reports and sales reports. Follows instructions and responds to management and supervisor direction. Writes and speaks clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and completes work in timely manner. Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and reacts well under pressure. Follows policies and procedures. Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly. Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Is consistently at work and on time and commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals, including weekend work as needed. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, trends. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient typing and computer skills including knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software (MS Excel), Word Processing software (MS Word) and Email software (Office365). Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however the employee may be required to enter production areas where the noise level is usually loud and hearing protection is required. - Employees are continuously updated on the latest recommendations from the CDC and CPF complies with all federal and state guidelines.
- Employee travel has been limited to essential travel only and access to the plants has been restricted to essential services only.
- Employees will receive incentives which include: $50 bonus for receiving the vaccine, 2 additional PTO days and/or 2 hours off to get the vaccine during work hours, in addition to receiving 75% towards premium buydown for medical plans.
