Job Description: Supplies pallets to Robot, Palletizer and Stackers, wraps finished product, and transports finished goods to Warehouse. Responsibility and Duties: Retrieves suitable pallets from pallet storage area and transports them to appropriate stacking areas. Operates palletizer, stacking robot and pallet wrapper in accordance with standard operating procedures and safe work practices. Monitors pallets, product, and stacking configuration to ensure overall quality and compliance with product specifications. Utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) to properly identify and track production. Verifies that tag information matches product being stacked. Scans and marks materials with identifying information and records amounts on appropriate paperwork. Moves stacked product to wrapping machine and ensures product is properly wrapped. Transports finished products to Warehouse Cooler Staging area. Responds to requests for Cup Room packaging material, or other stock items and distributes items to production areas. Follows instructions and responds to management or lead direction. Writes and speaks clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and completes work in timely manner. Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and reacts well under pressure. Follows policies and procedures. Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly and safely. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as production schedules, inventory reports, sales forecasts, safety rules, motor carrier regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, trends. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be skilled in the use of Warehouse Management System software and hardware or have the ability to become competent in such use. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must posses and maintain a current and valid Company issued pallet jack and forklift operators license. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however the employee may be required to enter production areas where the noise level is usually loud and hearing protection is required.
