The Assistant Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day efficient operation of the residential program. This position sets the clinical tone for the therapeutic milieu of the program. The Assistant Program Director oversees the annual program budget that relates to clients' wellbeing. The Assistant Program Director works closely with the Program Director in hiring and supporting all program staff.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...

• Assists Program Director in the recruitment, selection and orientation and evaluation of new employees
• Assists Program Director in planning and facilitating regular staff meetings, in-service training and on-going evaluation of the educational needs of staff and volunteers
• Assist Program Director in assuring compliance with licensing, reporting, and funding regulations as well as the fiscal administration of the program, including billing and required financial reporting
• Assists in program development and implementation of continuous Quality Improvement activities, inclusive of policies, procedure, and program outcome measurements and program evaluation

Qualifications/Credentials:

• Bachelor's degree required or four years experience in applicable positions; Master's degree in Human Services field preferred
• 2 years experience in human services/residential setting
• Supervision of staff and management; strong interpersonal, fiscal and leadership skills required
• Computer skills required
• Able to learn, participate and be CPI certified in physical restraints and de-escalation
• MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Acceptable CORI, SORI and DEEC background record check including fingerprinting
