Position Description

Dailey Precast, LLC, headquartered in Shaftsbury, VT specializes in the design and manufacturing of quality precast/prestressed concrete products. Our projects include parking structures, building exteriors, bridges, sports stadiums and retaining walls throughout Metro New York/New Jersey, Upstate New York, and New England. The Pour Crew Foreman is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight of the concrete pouring operations.

Essential Functions
  • Review daily pour sequence with Production team and communicate throughout the day for any adjustments / changes as needed.
  • Update team with quality requirements and ensure finished product meets specified requirements.
  • Work with Management team to train essential functions for the Department.
  • Pour, vibrate, trowel & finish Precast Concrete units.
  • Work with Operations Manager and HR Manager on department needs.
  • Become an agent for change for Safety and Quality Protocols.

Additional duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures as well as VOSHA regulations and guidelines. Support VPP activities, objectives and programs.
  • Responsible for arriving to work at time scheduled. Upon start of work be prepared with proper PPE.
  • Ability to work long hours,
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb up and down stairs and forms.
  • Responsible for punching in at time clocks to the appropriate job and product that you
  • will be working on.
  • Review previous day's production on a daily basis to look for areas where quality can be improved.
  • Follow crew leader instruction to maintain a steady work flow throughout the day.
  • Check with crew leader before leaving work area for any reason.
  • Notify crew leader of any upcoming scheduled time off, appointments, etc.
  • Maintain proper care of mold, tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Help prepare/stage materials for next day to maintain efficient work flow. Inform crew
  • leader of missing materials of information in order to avoid stoppage.
  • Check out with crew leader before leaving at end of each day.


Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing and construction setting.

The shift hours are 9:30am - up to 12 hour shift, M-F

Preferred Education, Experience and Certifications

  • High School Diploma


  • Experience working in the manufacturing/construction environment is required. Other Duties
