SUMMARY As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and managing curated datasets, key business metrics, and reporting data flow across functional units at Networx. Experience on a BI team, with major focus on ETL and SQL processes and data integration/development is essential to be successful in this role. You are a self-starter, and you are comfortable working cross-functionally with other teams across Networx. The BID understands the business and project needs and collaborates with analysts, managers, and data teams to proactively design and implement efficient solutions. This position will help establish the new business intelligence department.
You Will: Partner with business stakeholders, upstream database engineering teams, and downstream data consumers to understand data and translate business requirements into technical design of scalable data pipelines. Take ownership of all BI data, building trustworthy curated datasets, standardized metrics, and business definitions to empower data access and self-service. Perform data analysis and troubleshoot technical issues with platforms, performance, data discrepancies, and production issues. Maintain organized documentation to ensure scalable and efficient data, often looking into the future needs of the business.
You Have: 2+ years of BI experience as a developer, analyst, or data engineer with expert knowledge of ETL data architecture and hands-on experience of data modeling design, ETL pipeline implementation, and data preparation and integration within Domo or other BI tools. Excellent SQL skills. Excellent communication skills with strong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems; versatility and willingness to adapt role to business needs and learn technologies on the job. Desire to make a meaningful impact at a fast-growing, exciting company.
