Description: DEPARTMENT: Service REPORTS TO: Service Manager EXEMPT STATUS: Exempt (MN Statute 177.23(7)(6)) EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time SUMMARY: Diagnose and repair customer's as well as Hilltop owned units, keeping Hilltop's standard of excellence in quality and service, while meeting the demands of the company's customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Diagnose problems with units
- Advise about required repairs to service writers and or customers
- Complete required repairs to units
- Take pictures of before and after repairs (you can never have too many pictures)
- Fill out repair orders completely (cause & corrections)
- Maintain & Improve knowledge of systems used in units
- Maintain equipment used by technicians in the shop
- Clean up after yourself (customers unit as well as your shop area)
- Maintain a functional workspace
- Interact with parts employees to acquire proper parts for repairs
- Save and tag required warranty parts for warranty administrators
- Ability to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays, as the workload demands it
- Strict adherence to Hilltop Camper and RV's company policies, as written in the Company Handbook
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and/or Experience: - Experience preferred but not required

- Mechanically inclined
- Thorough and take pride in your work
- Organized and able to complete detail needs in a timely manner
- Self-directed; needing minimal supervision and direction

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Able to be on your feet all day, preforming physical work, in both hot and cold conditions
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to lift, bend, and work above your head

EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS USED: - Have and or acquire tools and equipment necessary to complete your job
