We have the perfect position for you. Join the Maglio Companies team as a Maintenance Technician. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts. Starts devices to test their performance. Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Programs PLC's. Initiates purchase order for parts and machines. Repairs electrical equipment. Performs maintenance on production and office areas. Perform building upkeep tasks that include but are no limited too painting, sanitation, grounds keeping. Follows and ensures good manufacturing practices at all times Follows and adheres to the company's safety program Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance experience to include all phases of preventive and corrective maintenance, including industrial and/or commercial facilities maintenance is required. PLC programming experience. Basic computer skills.
