Summary: Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality sonographic images according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Education: Graduate of a sonographer program. Experience: One (1) year of clinical Sonogram Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Licensure/Certification: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) (or within 12 months of hire into the department). BLS Certification is required.
