MarBorg Industries Performance Job Description Job title: Sorter Department: Recycle Yard Reports To: Recycle Yard Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-exempt Prepared Date: November 2017 SUMMARY- JOB DESCRIPTION The sorter is responsible for sorting materials such as organic material and general debris in the recycling yard. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. Sort material on the sort line by type and place into designated container. Empty sorted material containers as needed. Maintain a clean work area. Attend weekly safety meetings. Ability to adhere to work schedule. Must be flexible to work early and late hours depending on work load. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
