DRIVER SALES ASSOCIATE

The primary responsibilities of the Utility/Driver/Sales associate position are to maintain outstanding customer service, drive company vehicle to do customer deliveries and to support the store management team. As a company utility/sales and delivery-driver associate, you will deliver merchandise across town to customers when needed, weekend deliveries are a must. As part of the store team, you will be responsible for assisting with stocking, and selling when not out on delivery, other tasks may be assigned. As a driver you will be responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the company vehicle safely.

Must have a valid California driver license and a clean driving record.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assist with stocking, selling, and operating the Company vehicle.
• Assist in service calls: cut keys, cut/thread pipe, cut window shades, cut wood, cut glass, build grills and provide other customer-centric services
• Facilitate SF store deliveries to retail customers and inter-store deliveries when needed
• Communicate clearly and provide courteous customer service to all of our customers
• Load onto and unload merchandise safely from company vehicle
• Help plan routes to meet delivery schedules
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle and report any incidents immediately
• Other tasks maybe assigned
• Upholds attendance policies

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid California driver license and a clean driving record
• Driver experience preferred but not required
• Prior retail experience preferred but not required
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Be able to work independently and under supervision
• Have the ability and willingness to work flexible hours (weekends, mornings and evenings)
• Have excellent problem-solving skills
• Be computer literate
• Have excellent communication skills, exceptional organization ability, high attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Have solid team player, and interpersonal skills
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
