We are seeking a Service Technician with experience in hurricane protection solutions, such as shutters, roll-ups, and screens. Provide service during field visits or dispatches. Managing all on-site repair, troubleshoot, maintenance, and test tasks. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose the various hurricane protection solutions offered on both residential and commercial customers
• Plan and implement the necessary mechanical or electrical repairs
• Replace failed components or entire systems as deemed necessary
• On occasion, install new product for residential or commercial customers
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance per contract requirements

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• Own transportation
• Good attitude and ability to work well in a busy and dynamic environment
• Hurricane product troubleshooting and repair knowledge
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair knowledge
• Must be comfortable working on ladders and at height
• Able to lift and carry
• Ability to communicate with office staff and directly with residential and commercial customers
• Follow health and safety protocols
• Pass background check

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• High Scholl Diploma or GED
• Microsoft Applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Electrical Certification preferred, but not required
