Minimum Qualifications: Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida. Must have a current CPR card. Experience with skilled patients and infusion therapy. Supervisory experience is a plus; we are willing to train a motivated candidate seeking a management role. Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner and to be able to carefully follow written and oral instructions.
Essential Abilities: Willing to work beyond the normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary. Organize and direct the unit on a 24-hour basis to ensure the delivery of high-quality comprehensive patient care. Ability to understand and use universal precautions and appropriate protective measures - this position contains Category I tasks that may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Ability to manage and cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. Work closely with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people. Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently throughout the workday.
