JOB DUTIES Sell Tile! Daily Create Sample Orders and Sales Quotes accurately and timely as requested by the Outside Sales Representative, client, or management When new website launches verify online sample orders are accurate and proper quote is provided Provide OSR & SDR with updated information based on incoming online sample orders Communicate regularly with the Sample Department to ensure we meet all client expectations with product and sample Need Date Provide Budget Pricing to designers, as needed Complete stock checks on material to confirm orders arrive to our clients per their Need Date Register jobs with the manufacturers to avoid lost sales to competitors Calculate custom freight for all orders via CH Robinson Ensure all documentation is provided and proper payment taken for all Sales Orders Audit all Quotes for errors and necessary accurate information before converting Quotes to Sales Orders Manage and track Sales Orders, working with Customer Service as needed to provide post-sale support to our clients Confirm each Opportunity has an appropriate next action item, assigned to appropriate party Move projects forward in the sales process through relationship building and creating a sense of urgency when appropriate Help clients via phone, email, in-person and sometimes virtual with any tile needs they have At the end of each client interaction, sincerely thank them for working with us on their project Clearly explain sales process to clients, providing the appropriate customer service representatives contact information when needed Act on behalf of the Departments salespeople when they are outside of the office and clearly communicate messages to them by the end of the day Respond to both internal and external clients who phone or e-mail in a timely manner Arrive on time prepared to participate in the teams daily huddle Weekly Audit the Open Sample Order Report, reviewing any open items and following up with client and / or Sample Department as needed, ensuring client expectations are met Annual Attend local events hosted by appropriate industry organizations, such as ASID, AIA, and NEWH, as requested by management for networking and professional growth Search for opportunities for professional development related to your role or the industry, seek approval from management to use your yearly allowance Complete the self-review process with the manager Attend company-wide inventory count, as needed Attend all mandatory company meetings as published on the yearly calendar Salesforce Create all necessary records in Salesforce, including but not limited to Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities Regularly do a maintenance check of all records in Salesforce, looking for any revisions needed to addresses, emails, contacts, etc Create accurate Quotes and Sales Orders, per company policy Ensure all client phone calls and emails are logged throughout the day Update the SFDC Open Opportunities with all incoming information from salespeople, clients, etc Create Follow-Up tasks on each Opportunity in Salesforce, either for yourself or another member of your team, whichever is most appropriate Create Events on Accounts and Opportunities on behalf of the Outside Sales Representative Ensure that all data entered is clean and accurate, revising Salesforce records as needed. This includes but not limited to Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities Other Duties Attend all vendor and product training Add to and maintain relevant product knowledge Be familiar with all materials stocked by the company and available in the Sample Department Attend industry events, such as networking and tradeshows, as they are available Maintain the appearance of the office by keeping a clean, organized workspace REPORTS GENERATED & FREQUENCY OF USE Open Sample Order Report, generated each day and delivered to you via email New Quotes Created Today Report, generated each day and delivered to you via email Daily Sales Report, generated each day and delivered to you via email KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Outside Sales staff meeting or exceeding Monthly Sales Goals as provided on the Daily Sales Report Maintains a positive and inviting attitude with clients and co-workers All data entered into Salesforce and information recorded accurately Daily Huddles are taking place per company guidelines Develops a rapport with major accounts Phones answered in a timely manner Proper phone etiquette followed Voicemails and emails returned within company guidelines Positive reviews on Social Media Daily attendance records meet or exceed company policy
