Ketra, a Lutron Electronics company, has an immediate opening for a Cleanroom Operator in its Austin, TX manufacturing facility. Ketra is constructing our first clean room to produce high quality emitters for LED lights. In this position, you will utilize your semiconductor cleanroom experience to work directly with engineering to start the tool up for initial quals. Candidates with a maintenance background or basic knowledge of semiconductor packaging process are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Select recipes on a variety of semiconductor tools
- Report on fails and tool errors
- Run tool qualifications
- Inspect and track parts and processes during production
- Communicate status of operation in a timely manner to lead including any safety and/or process problems to engineers
- Perform test and verification of electronic assemblies in a technical computer-based environment and ensure quality of final product
- Execute production schedules and highlight issues for quality and output improvement
- Work in a team environment to implement improvement ideas
- Utilize the computer-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system called Oracle E1 to enter inventory and production transactions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3 or more years experience with semiconductor die attach and wire bond process, or 5 or more years of experience in advanced electronic assembly
- Ability to work in a standing position and wear a cleanroom suit throughout the entirety of the work shift
- Familiarity with semiconductors or Surface-mount technology (SMT, clean room) and clean room procedures
- Capability to follow work instructions on a computer screen and enter data into excel tables; experience with Microsoft Office
- Capability to lift and move boxes of product up to 30lbs
- Ability to work independently

Work Hours
- Monday-Friday: 7am-3pm, flexibility to work other shifts as needed
- Occasional overtime is required (come in 2 hours early, stay two hours late, or may work some Saturdays/Sundays)

- On your feet for most or all the shift
- Must wear appropriate clean room attire
