Daily Functions: Sell tile and setting materials to tile contractors and other clients, and call them to find out what their current setting materials needs Greet customers as they enter the building Verify Orders are paid for before release unless account has credit terms Receive material, check in and add notes to SFDC Call clients whose material is ready to be picked up Controls inventory levels and accuracy by performing daily inventory cycle counts, monitoring and reporting on fluctuations, and reconciling through established procedure. Provide walk- in customers with exeptional customers service inluding product support, order pick ups, and resolve issues Send Purchase Orders for out of stock material Work with other employees to establish a way to service and sell by servicing the current client base, after the current client base is maintained, establish a working partnership to get new trade accounts. Use UPS to ship and receive shipments Receive and audit all stock material and properly label with Barcode information Assists the sales team by handling inventory questions and providing lot photos Is active in making sure the department is on track to meet established quarterly goals Participate in daily morning huddle Support the safety committee within the facility to ensure a safe work environment and safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocol. Be prepared to cover other jobs in the warehouse as schedules/workload as needed Gain industry knowledge for tile, sealers, and setting material to better serve customers. Return all voice messages, phone calls, and emails each day Provide quality customer service to customers internal and external Other duties as assigned Reports Generated by Department & Frequency of Use: Audit and Analyze Warehouse Dashboard Report(s) to monitor key metrics. For ex: Daily FF Pack Goal, Deliveries Schedule by Order Status, Baltimore Warehouse Location Audit, etc. Daily reporting to manager Weekly Functions: Meet with the department manager once a week for 1-2 hours to review operational occurrences, reporting needs, and trend analysis Annual Function: Assist in annual inventory. Key Performance Indicators: Maintain inventory accuracy of 98% and reduce inventory adjustment requirements through process improvements. Respond to all external and internal communications within 2hrs and before leaving each day. Team morale and effectiveness. EXPECTED NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK: 45
