The Irrigation Technician in our Landscape department helps with the below duties at Al Angelo Company properties.

Schedule: Monday - Friday , 8:00am - 5:00pm

$18.00/HR + $1K Sign On Bonus

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Respond as necessary to reported irrigation issues, leaks, or damages
• Working knowledge of controller programming. Ability to make controller adjustments as required
• Replacement of controller or related components
• Valve repair and replacement
• Head replacement, nozzle adjustment
• Working knowledge of PVC piping, joints, and proper gluing techniques.
• Perform spring turn on procedures, including:
• Turning on of backflow devices and inspections for leaks
• Testing of master and zone valves
• Checking operation of each zone for leaks or damaged heads/nozzles
• Audit controller programming
• Perform winterization procedures, including:
• Turning off of backflow devices, preparing them for winter
• Draining main lines
• Audit controller programming
• Adhere to Company's Accident Prevention Program
• Communicate regular updates using Company provided communication tools

Must be 18 years or older with some previous knowledge in irrigation systems.
