Polyshot Corporation founded in 1989 is a growing manufacture of Melt Delivery Systems in West Henrietta, New York. In 2019, Redbarn Pet Products, a manufacturer of healthy dog and cat food, treats, and chews, acquired the Polyshot Corporation to create a new line of injected molded treats.

Summary Sets up and operates multi-axis numerical control milling machine to mill surfaces of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces by performing the following duties.

Job Type

Full Time 40 Hours/Week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Set-up/Program/Run CNC Mills
• Responsible for machining of hot half manifold components, multi-axis surface machining of cavity block impressions.
• Proficiency in Master Cam 2021.
• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Formal Education in CNC machining.
• Communicates effectively with client and other team members.
• Demonstrates ability to work under pressure, to manage deadlines and prioritize assignments.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and use gages and measuring instruments to meet tight tolerance requirements.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends when necessary.
• Works with engineers to ensure proper files are issued.
• Operates manual Radial drill, surface grinders, mills, and lathes to assist with the manufacturing of components for jobs.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years related experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Master Cam 2021 Design/Manufacturing Software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Tool Making, Mold Making, CNC Machining.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to operate manual mills and lathes.
