As a Managed Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide IT consultation and support to customers regarding their data center infrastructure, to include server, storage, and virtual environments. You are also responsible for maintaining and documenting customer environments and assisting customers to meet and exceed their IT requirements. This position requires effective communication and written skills. This person must enjoy consulting with a variety of customers to help them develop the right solutions for their company's environment.
- Provide IT support to multiple clients of Conversant Group.
- Assist with the maintenance of the Managed Services Monitoring tool.
- Assist with the maintenance of the Managed Services Remote Management and Patching Tool.
- Serve as an escalation for other engineers on the Managed Services Team.
- Create and maintain documentation of client environments.
- Assist in maintaining internal corporate systems.
- Participate in special Conversant projects as needed.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required.
- Previous experience as MSP required.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, HP, Dell, EMC.
- Certifications Microsoft, VMWare, Server Hardware, Storage Hardware, etc. are a plus.
- Exceptional documentation and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong teambuilding skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling Conversant's culture and values.
