AMFM Healthcare is looking for LVN Nursing Staff to provide superior care for our mental health clients. AMFM is a residential psychiatric healthcare provider serving those who are seeking treatment to learn coping skills for severe mental illness. We pride ourselves on the combination of medication management, 24 hour supervision, individual therapy, family therapy, a min of 6 hours of group therapy a day and case management services. We are looking for an individual with experience serving those diagnosed with a severe mental illness and who are passionate for providing hope. What is the Job? We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work as part of our nursing team. Experience in a psychiatric setting or working with patients diagnosed with acute psychiatric disorders is preferred but not required. This position is a rewarding one for those who seek to directly make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling with acute mental illness. You will provide compassionate and exceptional care for clients at our residential facilities, which are limited to 6 clients per residence. We have round the clock care, and you will provide basic nursing care within your scope of practice while being supported by a larger Physician and Clinician led team comprised of PAs, LMFTs, LCSWs, Support Staff, as well as your own team of CMAs and LVNs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action. Manage prescribed medications, noting times and amounts on patients' charts. Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures. Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions. Make appointments, keep records, and/or perform other clerical duties. Inventory and requisition supplies, instruments and medications and medication samples. Maintain confidentiality of patient records and reports Document client histories, progress and other pertinent information
