About the Role

Position Summary:

The Strategic Accounts Client Executive: Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations. Meets strategic objectives in assigned accounts. Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

Essential Functions:

Client Growth and Development

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Develop and drive account plan for assigned accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing clients and areas of improvement to strengthen partnership and increase revenue from existing clients
  • Lead the renewal process with clients, coordinate cross-functional collaboration between Strategic Accounts, Legal, Solution Management and Business Development to optimize MSA/SOW revisions
  • Manage Statement of Work Addendums to reflect new/changing business requirements
  • Optimize and elevate effective Strategic Accounts tactics to be integrated throughout the organization including integrating touchpoints and roles and responsibilities with other InformedDNA functions (i.e. Business Development, Implementation, Pricing, Legal, etc.)

Relationship Management

  • Delight customers as the primary liaison for InformedDNA's contracted clients
  • Project management to coordinate internal strategy, communications, action plans to deliver the optimal customer experience; track contract deliverables, metrics, and SLAs
  • Advocate to client stakeholders to reinforce partnership and promote expansion
  • Develop reports and benchmarking analyses that provide clients business intelligence, trends, data, and forecasts
  • Develop and promote best account management practices across business units and customer verticals/sectors
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, especially as it relates to tracking client growth and chartering growth potential
  • Forecast and track key account management metrics (e.g. quarterly revenue results, annual forecasts, customer satisfaction)
  • Root Cause Analysis systemic issue resolution and continuous improvement projects
  • Address all client requests, coordinate response, and issue escalations as required
  • Facilitate and assess client satisfaction through a variety of touchpoints (surveys, one-to-ones, program reviews/renewals, reporting)

Cross-functional Collaboration and Corporate Development

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures that support client program development, launch, and management, as well as optimize internal cross-functional collaboration
  • Contribute to developing sector expertise with industry & and client-based information, case studies and sector best practice
  • Identify channel and other partnership opportunities
  • Provide integral leadership and support roles with key client business reviews
  • Participate in sector think tanks, webinars, and conferences to share best practices
  • Contribute to developing new products and services

About You

Your Education & Experience:

  • 5-10 years client/account/sales executive experience, preferably with large health insurance plans or managed care entities
  • Proven track record in developing, maintaining, and improving client relationships towards retention and upsales
  • BA/BS, clinical and/or business field preferred, master's a plus
