We are looking for a lawn & shrub technician with 2+ years experience. The training we provide matches the skills of the trainee. We will advance your knowledge and skills no matter your experience level. When you are assigned a vehicle and route you will maintain those customers seldom working out of your assigned territory. No sales required. This position is primarily responsible for mixing or applying pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and/or insecticides.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operates, troubleshoots, and repairs spray equipment typically found in landscape maintenance.
Operates light to heavy vehicles, tools and equipment in the application of various herbicides and lawn care functions.
Utilizes various hand held manual and electrical sprayer equipment according to the work being performed.
Maintains cleanliness of facilities and equipment; maintains inventory of materials.
Prepares and mixes chemical agents used in the trade; prepares work area prior to beginning job and cleans area after completion of job.
Maintains excellent customer service and communication skills with employees, clients, vendors and management.

Hourly pay based on experience level and knowledge
Average of 50 hours a week with 1.5 overtime pay
We start early but finish the day early as well
Generally work one Saturday per month

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
