Job Summary: Lead Flagger 1 will perform a wide range of traffic control tasks to provide safety and support to our contractors on job sites or public/private roadways Duties / Responsibilities: - Lead Flagger 1 should have the duties and responsibilities of Flagger 3
- Lead Flagger 1 should perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills / Abilities: - Lead Flagger 1 should have the ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions
- Lead Flagger 1 should have the ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change
- Lead Flagger 1 should have the ability to work with a variety of personalities
- Lead Flagger 1 should have the ability to work under pressure
- Lead Flagger 1 should have the understanding of basic flagging policies, procedures, rules, and state and federal laws
- Lead Flagger 1 should at least 400 hours of road experience
- Education and Experience:
- Lead Flagger 1 should have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Lead Flagger 1 should have prior job experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: - Lead Flagger 1 must have state valid flagger certification card
- Lead Flagger 1 should have a valid driver license, to operate company equipment/vehicle
Physical Requirements: Key: Rarely (0-20%), Occasionally (21-50%), Frequently (51-80%), and Continuously (81-%) - Continuously standing, walking (frequently on uneven surfaces)
- Frequently bending/stooping

Work Environment This position generally requires 8 hours a day, if not sometimes more depending on the project. The workweek is Monday-Friday and occasionally on weekends/nights depending on the project. This position requires work in the outdoors in all types of weather. It involves walking, standing, bending and possible stooping for extended periods, as well as carrying and lifting heavy objects. The location of this position will be listed on an offer letter
