The Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of the General Counsel, is seeking to hire attorneys and senior attorneys in Tallahassee for both litigation and transactional positions.
Primary duties for the litigation positions include providing legal counsel in the administration of statutory programs and in regulatory and compliance matters, and representing the Department in circuit court, administrative proceedings, and appellate proceedings. Primary duties for the transactional positions include procurement, contracting, and rulemaking matters.
The selected candidates will work closely with client divisions within the Department. Selected candidates must work well with others as part of an effective and cohesive legal team, while independently managing an individual case load.
