The main responsibilities of a Pre-Lit Attorney are:

Be familiar with applicable Texas laws

Manage a high caseload with speed and efficiency

Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters and medical providers in order to resolve a case efficiently and for the highest possible settlement

Negotiate personal injury settlements to meet monthly goals

Supervise 1 non-attorney negotiator who will assist in settlement of cases

Review medical records and bills for utilization in case development

Conduct file reviews for support team and give direction on cases

Perform cost/benefit analysis of settlement vs. litigation

We are looking for someone who is:

Licensed to practice law in Texas

Experienced in pre-litigation personal injury (3+ years)

Comfortable in their role as a leader within the firm

Ready to work more than 40 hours a week in order to get the job done

An aggressive, competitive negotiator ready to be a zealous advocate for our clients

Humble, hungry and smart

Bilingual preferred but not required (English and Spanish)
