Summary:
The Water & Energy Project Engineer is an integral part of part of a team of engineers and technicians responsible for delivering quality civil and environmental engineering solutions related to the design of water facilities, wastewater facilities, and environmental design projects for the firm's clients in a specified regional office of a multi-office engineering firm. Responsibilities include performing studies and design computations, preparing plans and construction contracts/documents, construction observation, contract administration, wastewater planning, permitting, as well as providing technical expertise to clients.
The Water & Energy Project Engineer possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with Environmental emphasis and 4 plus years experience involving the design of water distribution and treatment systems; wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems and processes; hydraulics; on lot systems; and environmental assessments. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Professional Engineering license required. The Water & Energy Project Engineer is familiar with computer modeling of water systems, hydraulic design software, and PA DEP regulations. The Water & Energy Project Engineer is a team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills. This position requires travel to job sites, meetings, and other regional offices.
