Duties: 

Work collaboratively with various functional teams to develop proof of concepts, minimum viable products, and fully deployable solutions; create complex predictive and optimization models that help deliver significant value to the HERE businesses and functions; seek out best practices and development skills; work on multidisciplinary teams of data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and business subject-matter experts to deliver complex projects on time and within budgets; work with mentor to translate ambiguous and complex business problems into project charters clearly identifying technical risks and project scope; take ownership for the data science workflow including exploratory data analysis, model development, and potentially deployment; develop and test machine learning or statistical projects; exercise Computer Vision including image/video processing, object detection, classification, and tracking, and use deep learning tools (e.g. TensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch, etc.) for image/video analytics.

Requirements:               

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a data scientist or related position in machine learning. Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Python and Tensorflow; Keras, Pytorch and Scikit-learn; Scipy and OpenCV; Computer vision principles, including neural networks, image/video processing, object detection, classification, and tracking; using Java to develop algorithms; and using linear algebra, probability, and statistics in machine learning.
